{"id":42741,"date":"2023-01-25T12:18:45","date_gmt":"2023-01-25T12:18:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archiwa.gov.pl\/?page_id=42741"},"modified":"2023-02-17T11:46:25","modified_gmt":"2023-02-17T11:46:25","slug":"electronic-documents-archive","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/archiwa.gov.pl\/en\/discover\/projects\/electronic-documents-archive\/","title":{"rendered":"Electronic Documents Archive"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<strong> Electronic Documents Archive (EDA), <\/strong>polish: <strong>Archiwum Dokument\u00f3w Elektronicznych (ADE)<\/strong>, is an ICT system enabling the<strong> transfer, preservation, long-term storage<\/strong> of archival materials in electronic form, and making them available for use\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Electronic Documents Archive (EDA)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PVUjM36-ytY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EDA system is used by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Institutions <\/strong>(state, local government and private) \u2013 to transfer archival materials in electronic form to the State Archives;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Individuals<\/strong> \u2013 to transfer archival materials in electronic form to the State Archives;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>State Archives<\/strong> \u2013 to acquire archival materials in electronic form, secure and preserve them on a long-term basis;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Users<\/strong> (all interested persons) \u2013 to review archival materials in the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Idea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EDA system has been created with the following in mind:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Institutions <\/strong>(state, local government) producing and storing electronic documentation that constitutes archival materials to be taken over by the State Archives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Private entities and individuals <\/strong>wishing to transfer archival materials in electronic form to the State Archives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>National Archives<\/strong>, which should have the appropriate tools to acquire, secure, store and make available archival materials in electronic form,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Users <\/strong>who would like to browse the archival materials available in the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Architecture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EDA system consists of 4 portals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Public Portal <\/strong>\u2013 an information website,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Portal for Units <\/strong>\u2013 intended for employees of units required to transfer archival materials to the State Archives (or those who wish to do so),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Archivist Portal <\/strong>\u2013 intended for employees of the State Archives and enabling them to transfer archival materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Administrator Portal <\/strong>\u2013 dedicated to EDA system administrators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Electronic Documents Archive (EDA), polish: Archiwum Dokument\u00f3w Elektronicznych (ADE), is an ICT system enabling the transfer, preservation, long-term storage of archival materials in electronic form, and making them available for use\u201d.
