A new State Archives building will be built in Szczecin, at 3 Żołnierska Street.
Investment Scope
The investment includes the construction of a new warehouse building with technical and administrative spaces and necessary infrastructure. The facility will be equipped with modern installation systems that will ensure proper storage conditions for archival materials (including temperature and humidity control and security systems).
The investment will increase storage space and improve the storage conditions for archival resources. The project will also contribute to streamlining the processes of processing, recording, and providing access to archival materials.
Investment Goal
The implementation of this project will enable the State Archives in Szczecin to adapt its infrastructure to modern standards in the protection and provision of archival heritage.
Implementation Schedule
The investment is scheduled for 2026-2030. Preparatory work will begin in 2026, including updating the design documentation and activities related to project preparation. Construction, installation, and furnishing of the facility will take place in the following years.
On September 22, 2026, we signed a contract for the project entitled “Updating the design documentation for the planned investment entitled “Construction of a new headquarters for the State Archives in Szczecin, including authorial supervision.” The contractor for the project was SKEB S.K. KOŁTUN Design Studio Sp. J. from Olsztyn.
Investment Cost
The estimated cost of the first stage of the investment is approximately PLN 74,106,000.
