The State Archives in Piotrków Trybunalski will move to a new building at Stefana Batorego 10.
A space for archival materials and users
The new building will make it possible to acquire and safely store new archival materials from state and local government institutions. The usable area of the facility will be approx. 7,500 m2.
The project will make it possible to carry out cultural, educational and popularisation activities on a larger scale.
Safety and ease of use
The new building will provide optimal conditions for storing and sharing archival materials. With all holdings gathered under one roof, the archive will better serve the residents and institutions of Piotrków Trybunalski and the surrounding region. The facility will be built approx. 500 metres from the city’s main square, which will make it easier for all interested parties to reach it.
In the new building, it will be possible to appropriately arrange, secure, process, inventory, share and popularise the holdings.
Technologies and equipment that will reduce maintenance and operating costs will be used in the building. The new building will be fully accessible to people with special needs.
