Thanks to its innovative solutions, the new building of the State Archives in Gorzów Wielkopolski offers optimal conditions for storing and sharing historical documents, which are some of the most important sources used in researching the history of the Lubuskie Voivodeship.
The building has a floor space of 1841 m2. It features two records storage facilities with an area of 830 m2, a research room with a self-service copier and computer terminals with access to the databases and the digitized portion of the holdings. The new building also has its own exhibition and conference room, as well as records conservation and digitization workshops. It is also capable of effectively hosting education and popularization projects.
